Pain

Interpreting for the deaf is among the highest risk
professions for repetitive motion and/or overuse injuries. Pain means lost time, less than quality service and impacts company
and individual reputation.
Interpreting related injuries may
include among others: carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic
outlet syndrome, bursitis, trigger finger and nerve compression. The array of symptoms may include:
- tingling sensations, pain in the hands, arms and/or shoulders
