Pain does not need to be part of interpreting!

the highest risk professions for repetitive motion and/or overuse injuries. Pain means lost time, less than quality service
and impacts company and individual reputation.
Interpreting related injuries may include among others: carpal tunnel
syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, bursitis, trigger finger and
nerve compression. The array of symptoms
may include:
- tingling sensations, pain in the hands, arms
and/or shoulders
- loss of dexterity and/or joint stiffness
- muscular weakness and/or upper extremity fatigue...
all of which and more, can significantly
diminish the quality of service delivery.
